Wrestling Match

Ephesians 6:10-12, 1 Corinthians 10:1-5

“Wrestling Match” is a plain warning: you are in a fight whether you admit it or not. Ephesians 6 says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spirits that know how to deceive. The devil ain’t using new tricks—he’s using old ones on people who won’t learn the Book, won’t assemble, won’t put on the whole armor of God, and won’t stay strong in the Lord. If you try to fight this battle in your own muscle, your own mind, or your own feelings, you’re already losing. This study calls you to wake up, stand firm, and stop playing with temptation like it won’t burn you. Israel passed through the sea, ate spiritual meat, drank spiritual drink—and still, with many of them, God was not pleased. Don’t let baptism, church attendance, or spiritual talk fool you into thinking obedience doesn’t matter. You need the Holy Ghost, you need truth, you need understanding, and you need to wait on God instead of trusting yourself. This ain’t fear-mongering—it’s love with its sleeves rolled up, telling you the devil is real, hell is real, and God didn’t give you armor so you could sit down and lose.
