The Way

Isaiah 35:2-9, Hebrews 12:5-10

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 38 min

“The Way” ain’t your way, my way, or some preacher’s pet doctrine—it’s God’s way, and Isaiah called it the Way of Holiness. This study calls the church back from drifting, back from unbelief, back from leaning on everything but the Lord. We’ve gotten quick to call everybody except God, quick to talk faith but slow to pray, lay hands, obey, and believe. The Word says the redeemed walk this road, the unclean don’t. If that cuts—it’s supposed to. God didn’t save us to sit weak, fearful, and silent while the boat drifts from the shore. And don’t despise correction, because Hebrews 12 says the Father chastens the sons He loves. You don’t get cleaned without scourging, and you don’t get holy while rebelling against the hand that’s trying to save you. This message is a hard call to humility, assembling together, holiness, faith, and obedience—to let Christ be seen in us as living epistles. God is still speaking, still correcting, still calling His people to strengthen weak hands and say to fearful hearts, “Be strong.” This ain’t optional. It’s The Way.
