Think on These Things

Philippians 4:4-14

Bishop's Tapes· Minister Dawson· 31 min

Think on These Things is a straight warning from Philippians 4: your mind ain’t a playground, it’s a battlefield. If you feed on lies, injustice, bitterness, fear, and murmuring, don’t be shocked when that spirit takes hold of you. God said think on what is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report—and He didn’t say it for decoration. Rejoice in the Lord always, pray with thanksgiving, and let the peace of God guard your heart before trouble turns your mouth into a complaint factory. This study calls you to contentment, obedience, humility, and real strength in Christ. Paul learned how to be full and hungry, up and down, abased and abounding—and still stand. That’s not church talk; that’s tested faith. If you want God’s presence, handle trouble God’s way. Stop giving the devil room in your thoughts, stop stirring confusion in the Body of Christ, and learn to walk in joy, unity, brotherly love, and truth. If that cuts—it’s supposed to. It’s trying to keep your soul from drifting.
