The Preachers

Matthew 13:24-25, 2 Timothy 3:12-13, Jeremiah 23:4-12

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 53 min

**The Preachers** is a hard warning from the Word of God: the enemy doesn’t have to destroy the church from the outside when he can sow tares right among the wheat. While men slept, Satan planted corrupt minds, deceitful spirits, hatred, division, and seducers in the very place where holiness ought to live. This study calls you to wake up, watch and pray, and stop acting shocked when wickedness shows up in religious clothes. Perilous times are here, and evil men are waxing worse and worse. If that cuts—it’s supposed to. But this ain’t just a rebuke to the people; it’s a charge to the preachers. Jeremiah said the land mourned because of profane prophets and priests, and God didn’t stutter. Blind leaders will drag blind followers into the ditch. A true shepherd feeds the flock, protects the fatherless and widows, executes judgment and justice, and points God’s people back to holiness, the Holy Ghost, and the Lord our righteousness. This study is a soul-check: are you wheat or tare, shepherd or hireling, deceived or walking in truth? Choose carefully—God sees the field.
