The Murmuring

Acts 4:32-37, 5:1-3, 6:1-7

“The Murmuring” pulls the cover off what folks call church and measures it against the Book of Acts. God didn’t build His church to be a named building with neglected widows, selfish pockets, and saints saying “mine” while somebody among them lacks bread. In Acts 4–6, the believers had all things common, distribution was made according to need, and when the Grecian widows were neglected in the daily administration, the apostles didn’t shrug it off or send them to the government—they set the house in order. But hear this plainly: even a real complaint can turn rotten when it comes out as murmuring. God calls for order, honesty, Holy Ghost-filled wisdom, prayer, and obedience—not grumbling, favoritism, greed, or lies like Ananias and Sapphira. This study is a hard rebuke to broken church systems and half-hearted saints alike.
