The First People in the Church

Acts 2:1-8,12-16

“The First People in the Church” takes us back to Acts 2, where God didn’t start His church with opinions, traditions, or denominational arguments—He started it with a sound from heaven, a rushing mighty wind, tongues of fire, and men filled with the Holy Ghost. This was not man-made religion. This was not confusion. This was Joel’s prophecy coming alive, and Peter stood up and declared, “This is that.” If the church began with the Holy Ghost, tongues, repentance, and being born of water and Spirit, then don’t let anybody talk you out of what God plainly put in His Word. This study warns against resisting the Holy Ghost, fighting Jesus Name baptism, and hiding behind letters while ignoring the Book of Acts. Friend, I’m not saying this to win an argument—I’m saying it because your soul is on the line. The first church was together, obedient, and filled with power from heaven. If that cuts through your tradition, let it cut. God ain’t obligated to match your denomination, but we are obligated to submit to His Word.
