A Rebellious People Pt. 2

Isaiah 1:2-7, 30:7-12

“A Rebellious People Pt. 2” is a hard warning from Isaiah’s mouth to our generation’s ears: God’s people have despised His Word, trusted in vain help, raised children without the fear of the Lord, and then wondered why the streets are full of blood and the churches are full of smooth talk. The prophet called them rebellious, lying children—and if that cuts, it’s supposed to. This study doesn’t blame everything on the world while the house of God sits comfortable in compromise. It puts the finger where the wound is: backsliding, disobedience, false prophecy, weak preachers, broken homes, pride, and a people who want deceit more than correction. God didn’t call His people to sit still in Egypt, beg Pharaoh for answers, or tell the preacher to stop seeing sin. He called us to be born again, filled with the Holy Ghost, baptized in Jesus’ name, walking in holiness, training our children, honoring authority, and trusting the Lord before judgment falls. Isaiah warned of Sodom, Gomorrah, and a sinful nation gone backward—but he also spoke of a remnant. Friend, this ain’t a message to entertain you. It’s a mercy alarm. Wake up, repent, and get ready to make heaven your home.
