Which Preacher is Right?

Acts 2:36-38, 19:1-8

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 40 min

“Which Preacher is Right?” takes you straight into the Book of Acts and asks the question most folks are scared to ask: is the preacher you’re following preaching what the apostles preached? Paul didn’t pat those disciples in Ephesus on the back and leave them half-finished—he asked, “Have ye received the Holy Ghost?” Then he checked their baptism. Peter didn’t tell the crowd to just believe and go home—he said repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The Word says what it says. You can wrestle with it, or you can submit to it. This study doesn’t come to flatter religion, denominations, sprinkling, titles, or traditions that can’t stand up in Acts. It comes to warn you in love: belief without obedience is not the apostolic pattern. If you’ve been baptized wrong, taught wrong, or left short of the Holy Ghost, don’t get mad at the truth—thank God somebody cared enough to tell you. This ain’t about winning an argument. This is about salvation, repentance, the Name of Jesus, and being born again the Bible way.
