God's Promises Fulfilled

Joshua 1:1-6, 11:16-18,23

“God’s Promises Fulfilled” is a hard reminder that God doesn’t change His word just because men die, leaders shift, or the road gets rough. Moses was gone, but the promise still stood, and Joshua had to rise up, cross Jordan, and take the land God had already given. That’s the lesson: God’s faithfulness is sure, but you still have to obey. The inheritance was promised to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses—but Joshua had to put his feet on it. God didn’t stutter: “Be strong and of a good courage.” This ain’t a message for quitters, excuse-makers, or folks waiting on blessings they refuse to walk into. The Word shows us that no enemy can stop what God has ordained—but disobedience, fear, and weakness in the camp will hinder a people quicker than Pharaoh ever could. God said He would not fail Joshua, and He won’t fail His people now; but don’t let the failure be on your side. The work must be finished. The promise must be possessed. The land, the calling, the truth, the inheritance—none of it is for the lukewarm or the lazy. If God is with you, move. If He commanded it, obey. If He promised it, stand on it—and don’t trade the real thing for a counterfeit.
