Remember the Words

Jude 1:1-25

Elder Dawson· Mar 7, 2027· 1 hr 19 min

“Remember the Words” is a straight warning from Jude: don’t be fooled by smooth talkers, greedy preachers, murmurers, complainers, and men who use Jesus’ name while walking after their own lust. God didn’t leave His people guessing—He told us to go back to the words of the apostles, measure every spirit by the Book, and quit making excuses for what Scripture already exposed. If a man’s ministry is built on advantage, filthy lucre, and swelling words, don’t call that grace. Call it what Jude called it. The Word says what it says, and you can wrestle with it or submit to it. But this ain’t just about spotting the false—it’s about keeping your own soul right. Build yourself up on your most holy faith, pray in the Holy Ghost, keep yourself in the love of God, and look for the mercy of Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And while you’re standing, don’t get proud—somebody helped pull you out too. Have compassion, make a difference, and pull others out of the fire with fear, hating the sin but loving the soul. This is tight, but it’s right. Eternity is too serious for games.
