Don't Be Deceived

2 Thessalonians 2:1-17, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, Acts 1:1-2

Elder Dawson· Mar 14, 2027· 1 hr 3 min

Don’t Be Deceived is a straight warning to the church: the devil ain’t always coming with horns and fire—sometimes he comes with a robe, a title, a pulpit, and a Bible in his hand. Paul said it plain in 2 Thessalonians 2: let no man deceive you by any means. That means watch your mind, watch your spirit, watch the words you entertain, and measure every preacher, prophet, apostle, and teaching by the Book—not by signs, not by shouting, not by money tricks, and not by lying wonders. This study calls the saints back to endurance, truth, and the traditions taught by the apostles. False teachers are already working, and the falling away doesn’t happen by accident—it happens when people stop loving the truth and start enjoying unrighteousness dressed up like religion. If that cuts, it’s supposed to. This ain’t about attacking people; it’s about guarding souls. Stand fast, hold the Word, obey the gospel, and don’t let anybody charm you out of what God already said.
