God Sends a Righteous Branch

Jeremiah 23:1-40

Elder Dawson· Mar 21, 2027· 1 hr 14 min

God Sends a Righteous Branch is not a soft lesson for comfortable religion. Jeremiah 23 opens with a holy “woe” against pastors, prophets, and priests who scatter God’s sheep, twist His Word, sell lies as visions, and use the people for money while calling it ministry. God didn’t stutter: false teachers may dress fine, talk smooth, and say “the Lord told me,” but if it doesn’t line up with the Word, it’s deception. The burden is not on God’s people to swallow every dream and prophecy—it’s on the preacher to feed the flock truth, not fleece them dry. But thank God, when corrupt leadership fails, God sends the Righteous Branch—Jesus Christ, the Lord our righteousness. He comes with judgment and justice, not religious games. This study is a warning in love: don’t be dazzled by titles, crowds, prosperity talk, or spiritual theater. Search the Book. Obey the Word. Come out from lies, hypocrisy, and wickedness. The Word is fire and hammer—it burns, breaks, and saves what will submit. If that cuts, it’s supposed to.
