Who’s going to Win?

Colossians 1:1-2, Deuteronomy 20:1-19

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 49 min

**Who’s going to Win?** That’s not a guessing game for the saints of God—the Lord wins, and His people win with Him when they stand where He told them to stand. This study cuts through confusion by rightly dividing the Word: Acts shows the beginning of salvation and the New Testament Church, while Colossians speaks to the saints already called to stay on track. God didn’t turn His church over to man’s opinions—He put it in the hands of the Holy Ghost. One Lord, one faith, one baptism. You can wrestle with that, or you can submit to it. From Deuteronomy 20, this message reminds us that God’s people have always been under attack, outnumbered, and hated by the enemy—but the battle belongs to the Lord. Fear not. Don’t tremble. Don’t let your heart faint. But hear this plain: God can’t use coward soldiers, double-minded saints, or folks still in love with houses, vineyards, comfort, and the ways of the heathen. If you want the victory, you’d better come out from abominations, lay aside idolatry, and obey the Captain of the battle. This ain’t about popularity—it’s about holiness, separation, and knowing whose side you’re on when judgment comes.
