They That Were Overthrown Pt. 1

Hebrews 1:1-3, 1 Corinthians 10:1-7

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 44 min

“They That Were Overthrown Pt. 1” is a wake-up call to anybody who thinks starting with God is the same as finishing with Him. Israel came out of Egypt, passed through the sea, ate spiritual meat, drank spiritual drink, and still many of them fell in the wilderness because God was not well pleased. Don’t miss that. Baptism, blessings, and church history don’t give you permission to lust after evil things, murmur, turn idolater, or drift back into bondage. The devil is still overthrowing folks before they reach what God promised, and if that cuts—it’s supposed to. This study lays it plain: don’t be ignorant of the Word, don’t play games with grace, and don’t think you can come back whenever you feel like it. God didn’t stutter. The storm is coming, the strait gate is still strait, and the Rock is still Christ. If you’ve been derailed, repent and come back while mercy is calling. If you’re still standing, tighten your grip and walk in the light. This ain’t entertainment—this is for your soul.
