They That Were Overthrown Pt. 2
1 Corinthians 10:1-7
“They That Were Overthrown Pt. 2” is a hard warning from 1 Corinthians 10: God brought Israel out, fed them spiritual meat, gave them water from the Rock, led them by cloud and fire—and still many were overthrown in the wilderness because they lusted, murmured, worshiped idols, and turned their backs on Him. Don’t play with that. God’s provision does not excuse disobedience, and church attendance won’t save a soul that’s flirting with the world. If that cuts, it’s supposed to. The Word says these things were written for our example, so we don’t fall in the same ditch. This study calls folks to stop being ignorant of the Bible, stop swallowing false doctrine, and get serious about the new birth—water baptism, the Holy Ghost, and a life separated from sin. The devil doesn’t mind you playing church as long as you never obey God. Grace is real, but it ain’t a toy. Heaven is real, hell is real, and if you don’t choose the way up, you’re already choosing the way down. I’m not saying that to scare you for sport—I’m saying it because your soul is too precious to be overthrown before you reach the Promised Land.
