The System

Joshua 1:1-5, Nehemiah 5:1-7, Acts 5:34-39

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 1 hr 11 min

“The System” pulls the cover off what most folks don’t even know is holding them. This study walks through Joshua, Nehemiah, and Acts to show that God’s work doesn’t move by fear, family favoritism, fleshly schemes, or man-made control. When God laid His hand on Joshua, He made him responsible for His people—not just his own house. When Nehemiah heard the cry of the oppressed, he didn’t play games with debt, bondage, and usury—he faced it. And when Gamaliel spoke in Acts 5, the warning was plain: if this thing is of men, it’ll fall; but if it’s of God, you can’t overthrow it. This ain’t a soft lesson. It’s a wake-up call against distraction, spiritual ignorance, betrayal, and systems that feed on people while calling it help. God’s people have been too easily controlled because they quit looking at God and started staring at the condition. But the Word still says be strong and courageous. Wait on God. Stay with apostolic doctrine. Don’t let Judas, debt, fear, or the devil pull your eyes off the promise. If God is building it, hell can bark all it wants—it cannot stop the work of God.
