The Mind of Christ

Acts 2:44-45, 4:30-34, Philippians 2:4-6, Mark 10:28-31, Judges 16:1-20

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 1 hr 6 min

“The Mind of Christ” ain’t just about thinking better—it’s about dying to that selfish, stubborn, self-protecting mind that keeps God’s people weak, divided, and lacking. This study walks straight through Acts, Philippians, and Mark 10 to show that the early church had power because they had one heart, one soul, all things common, and no man living for himself. If you say you believe, then your mind ought to prove it. Brotherly care, giving, obedience, forsaking all, and real love are not side issues—they are the evidence that Christ is ruling in you. And don’t miss the warning from Samson: a wrong mind, a soft spot for compromise, and a heart given over to deception can strip a strong man bare. Delilah didn’t take Samson down in one swing—she wore him down. That devil is still waiting, still watching, still looking for where your strength lies. But God is merciful, and hair can grow again. So pray for the right mind, the do-right mind, the mind of Christ. The truth may step on your toes, but it’s trying to keep your feet out of hell.
