The Crucified Christ

John 19:15-18,28-30, 20:11-18, Amos 5:18-19

“The Crucified Christ” drags us back to the blood-soaked truth folks love to rush past: before the resurrection shout, there was a cross. Jesus was rejected as King, beaten, mocked, nailed up, and forsaken so sinners could have a door to everlasting life. This study doesn’t let you admire Calvary from a safe distance—it makes you face the price Jesus paid for your salvation. God didn’t send His Son to be tortured so we could play church, serve sin, and call it grace. If you’re running from God, hear the warning: you may dodge one lion and meet a bear, but judgment is still waiting. The Day of the Lord will not be light for the disobedient and lukewarm—it will be darkness. But mercy is still calling. Like Mary Magdalene, you may not recognize Him until He speaks your name, but when the Shepherd calls, His sheep know His voice. Take up your cross, trust Him, stop negotiating with sin, and bow before the crucified and risen Christ. This ain’t optional. This is your soul.
