That Which is Right

2 Kings 22:1-8, Matthew 7:13-14, Acts 2:37-45

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 43 min

“That Which is Right” is a straight-backed call to stop playing church and start walking in the sight of the Lord. Josiah was young, but he did what grown men refused to do—he walked right, turned neither left nor right, and set the house of God in order. This study lays it plain: the way is strait, the gate is difficult, and God never promised you a soft road. If you’re looking for an easy religion that lets you keep your pride, your excuses, and your own way, you’re standing at the wrong gate. This message also drags the lost Book back into the house—Acts 2 ain’t optional. Repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, the Holy Ghost, continuing steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine, real fellowship, prayer, unity, and faithful stewardship—this is where the church started, and this is where we must return. God didn’t call His people to confusion, crooked church games, or poverty-minded disobedience. He called us to understanding, order, obedience, and all things common under His vision. If that cuts, it’s supposed to. Better the Word cut you now than judgment find you later.
