Remember the Word

2 Peter 3:1-9

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 55 min

“Remember the Word” is a warning shot from 2 Peter 3:1-9: don’t let your mind get dull, don’t let scoffers poison your faith, and don’t get comfortable just because judgment hasn’t fallen yet. God didn’t forget His promise, and He ain’t slack concerning it. The same world that ignored Noah until the water came is the world we’re living in now—only this time it’s reserved for fire. If that don’t wake you up, you’re sleeping too hard. This study calls the saints back to remembrance, repentance, watchfulness, and real love—the kind that corrects, covers in righteousness, and refuses to conceal sin while souls are in danger. The Lord is longsuffering, not because He’s weak, but because He’s giving space to repent. Don’t mistake mercy for delay. Don’t cut loose from the Blood of Jesus, don’t despise correction, and don’t play games in the last days. The Word says what it says. Remember it, fear God, and get ready.
