Prophecy Deceits

Isaiah 30:10-11

**Prophecy Deceits** is a hard warning from Isaiah 30:10-11 for a people who don’t want truth—they want smooth things. They tell the preacher, “Don’t prophesy right things,” because righteousness cuts too close, repentance costs too much, and the straight path leaves no room for rebellion. But God didn’t call His servants to fool you, flatter you, or preach you comfortable on your way to judgment. The Word says what it says. You can get mad at the messenger, but that won’t change the message. This study calls out false prophecy, itching ears, and the deceitfulness of a heart that wants the name of God without the rule of God. The devil is still out to steal, kill, and destroy, and one of his oldest tricks is getting folks to hate the truth that could save them. This ain’t harshness—it’s love. God doesn’t want you lost, your children lost, or your house swallowed up by lies. So make your feet straight in the path, quit fighting spiritual leadership that tells you the truth, and stop asking for deceit when your soul needs deliverance.
