Perfected Love

1 John 4:7-21, John 15:12-13

Bishop's Tapes· Minister Dawson· 43 min

Perfected Love ain’t cheap talk, handshakes, and Sunday smiles. This study walks straight through 1 John 4 and John 15 and shows us what God calls love: laying down your life for your friends, bearing burdens, serving others, covering sins instead of exposing them, and staying bound together as one body when the devil tries to tear the saints apart. God is love, and if He dwells in you, folks ought to see Him in how you love your brother—not just when it’s easy, but when it costs you something. Don’t say you love God while hatred is sitting in your heart. The Word says that man is a liar, and God didn’t stutter. Perfect love casts out fear, stands bold for Judgment Day, and refuses to be frightened away from sacrifice, holiness, and spiritual family. This ain’t sentimental religion—this is Holy Ghost love, the kind that denies self, suffers long, and keeps giving when nobody is paying you, praising you, or patting you on the back. If that cuts, let it cut. It’s trying to save your soul.
