Paul’s Problem

2 Corinthians 11:1-33, 12:1

“Paul’s Problem” is the same problem every true man of God has faced from the beginning: people being pulled from the simplicity in Christ by smooth talk, false apostles, another Jesus, another spirit, and another gospel. Paul takes us back to the Garden, where the serpent corrupted Eve’s mind, and then brings it right into the church at Corinth. Don’t act like the devil retired. He still dresses wolves in sheep’s clothing and calls darkness light. God didn’t stutter—try the spirits, know the truth, and stop letting deceitful workers drag your soul into bondage. This study is a hard warning wrapped in godly jealousy. Paul wasn’t boasting to be seen; he was defending the Gospel, the apostles’ doctrine, and the Bride of Christ. He suffered, labored, was beaten, shipwrecked, burdened with the care of the churches, and still preached freely because souls mattered more than comfort. If the truth cuts, let it cut. Better to be wounded awake than flattered into hell. Obedience is better than noise, holiness is better than show, and the end of every false minister will be according to his works.
