No Honour Pt. 1
Matthew 13:57, 2 Corinthians 6:4-10, 2 Timothy 2:19-21
“No Honour Pt. 1” lays it bare: a true preacher of God is not sent to win applause—he’s sent to tell the truth, and truth will make folks mad before it makes them free. Jesus said a prophet is without honor in his own country and house, and He proved it Himself. They loved the miracles, but hated the correction. They chose Barabbas over Christ because false preachers stirred the crowd and made sin comfortable. Don’t be deceived—flattery is not love, and a smooth sermon that leaves you in iniquity is poison with sugar on it. This study is a warning for your soul. The devil is fighting, the gates of hell are working, and your soul is too precious to dress up the body while leaving the spirit naked. God still loves man like He loved Adam after the fall, but love does not cancel obedience. You must be born again, repent, be baptized in Jesus’ name, receive the Holy Ghost, and purge yourself from dishonor if you want to be a vessel fit for the Master’s use. The foundation of God stands sure—God knows them that are His. If this cuts, let it cut. Better to be wounded by truth now than comforted by deception all the way to judgment.
