No Honour Pt. 2

Matthew 13:53-58, 2 Corinthians 6:4-9, 2 Timothy 2:15-20

“No Honour Pt. 2” puts a hard light on why folks rejected Jesus in His own country: they thought they knew Him, so they refused to hear Him. They knew His family, His trade, His surroundings—but they missed His deity, His authority, and His mighty works because unbelief had blinded them. That same spirit is alive today. People get offended at the preacher, but the real fight is with the message. They don’t hate the man nearly as much as they hate the Word of Truth when it tells them to be born again, baptized in Jesus’ name, filled with the Holy Ghost, and to depart from iniquity. God didn’t stutter, and His foundation still stands. This study warns every soul to stop hiding behind vain babbling, family opinions, tradition, and false doctrine. A true minister must be approved unto God, not applauded by men—and that road comes with affliction, evil report, patience, sufferings, and trouble. But hear it plain: if the Word cuts you, don’t run from it. Submit to it. Rightly divide it. Obey it. Because familiarity with church talk won’t save you, and unbelief will rob you of the very mighty works God meant to do in your life.
