Let God be True
Romans 1:6-7, 3:1-4, 1 Corinthians 1:1-2, John 3:1-5, Acts 2:37-38, 19:1-6
**Let God be True** is a wake-up call for anybody who’s been letting tradition, denomination, family religion, or some smooth-talking preacher override the plain Word of God. Romans 3:4 doesn’t leave room for negotiation: let God be true, and every man a liar. If Jesus said a man must be born of water and Spirit, then that’s the truth. If Peter preached repentance and baptism in Jesus’ name for the remission of sins, then that’s the truth. If Paul asked believers whether they had received the Holy Ghost, then that’s the truth. You can wrestle with it, get mad at it, or run from it—but the Word still stands. This study lays the axe to confusion, false doctrine, and man-made religion. One Lord, one faith, one baptism—that’s not a suggestion, that’s God’s order. Don’t hide behind “you can lead a horse to water” when the Lord is the One leading you there. Nobody can force you to obey, but don’t call disobedience faith. This ain’t about winning an argument; this is about your soul. If the Scripture cuts, let it cut. Better to be wounded by truth now than comforted by a lie all the way to judgment.
