Jesus on Trial

Mark 14:55-64, 15:1-2,12-15

**Jesus on Trial** ain’t just a history lesson about Mark 14 and 15—it’s a mirror held up to this present hour. The same spirit that stirred up the chief priests, hunted false witnesses, twisted His words, and cried “Crucify Him” is still working today. Call it false religion, call it Antichrist, call it fear of man—but don’t call it harmless. Jesus said, “I Am,” and they knew exactly what He meant. The Word didn’t stutter. He is the Christ, the Son of God, the King of the Jews, the Rock, and the coming Son of Man. And here’s the part that ought to sober every saint: Jesus is still on trial in His people. If Christ is in you by the Holy Ghost, don’t be shocked when the world accuses, religion resists, and troublemakers rise up. Pilate knew better, but he pleased the people. Don’t you dare make that same mistake. This study calls us to be true witnesses—not cowards, not compromisers, not folks who fold when the pressure comes. If you carry His Ghost, you carry His reproach. Stand anyway. Repent where you’ve been ashamed, obey where you’ve been hesitant, and hold fast to the apostolic doctrine. Eternity is too serious for weak religion.
