It’s in the Book
Joshua 1:1-9,16-18, Matthew 23:30-39, Acts 2:37-39
“It’s in the Book” is a straight warning and a firm hand on your shoulder: if you don’t know the Word, you’re going to be led around by fear, poverty, rebellion, and every smooth-talking spirit that sounds religious. God told Joshua plainly—meditate in the Book day and night, observe to do it, and then your way will be prosperous. Not just read it. Not just quote it. Do it. The Book gives order, courage, leadership, inheritance, and good success—but disobedience will shut the door God opened. This study walks from Moses to Joshua, from Israel’s promises to the Gentiles being brought in through repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. And don’t miss the warning from Matthew 23: folks have always claimed they would’ve honored the prophets while rejecting the truth standing right in front of them. Don’t be that kind of soul. The Word says what it says. You can fight it, explain it away, or obey it—but your blessing, your deliverance, and your eternity are tied to what you do with what’s written in the Book.
