Is Real (Israel)
Genesis 32:22-32
“Is Real (Israel)” is a hard word about God taking a man named Jacob—trickster, runner, fearful flesh—and wrestling him until what was fake had to give way to what was real. In Genesis 32, Jacob didn’t get a blessing by playing church or talking big; he held on through the night, got touched, got changed, and walked away marked. That’s how God works. The Holy Ghost doesn’t come to decorate phonies—He comes to make children of God real. This study warns us plain: if you want God’s promises, you better be ready for God’s testing. The devil will come asking whether your faith is real, your obedience is real, your prayer is real, your sacrifice is real. And God will let the struggle expose you—not to destroy you, but to transform you. Don’t run from the wrestling. Don’t change the plan. Hold on until the blessing comes, and let God put His name on you.
