Get in the Church

Isaiah 2:1-3, 35:8-10

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 17 min

Get in the Church is not a soft suggestion—it’s a last-days warning. Isaiah said the mountain of the Lord’s house would be established, and all nations would flow unto it. That means you don’t stay down in the valley, stuck in deception, sin, pride, false religion, or whatever pit has been holding you. You come up. You leave the hills that pretend to be the mountain, and you get where God’s law, God’s ways, and God’s holiness are being taught. This ain’t about church games. This is about your soul. There is a highway, and Isaiah called it the Way of Holiness. The unclean don’t walk there until they’ve been washed by the blood, redeemed by God, and made clean His way—not their way. Baptism in Jesus’ name, the Holy Ghost, repentance, separation, obedience—don’t let anybody fool you into thinking you can drag your old nature onto God’s road. The lion has to give up his roaring. The rattler has to stop rattling. And you’ve got to come out from among them before it’s everlasting too late. Get in the Church. Come to Zion. There’s salvation, cleansing, and everlasting joy there.
