Faith Without Works

James 2:14-25, John 15:5,14

Bishop's Tapes· Minister Dawson· 44 min

Faith Without Works is a warning shot to every soul that thinks words alone will carry them into heaven. James didn’t whisper it—faith without works is dead. You can say you believe God, but your life will testify louder than your mouth. Real faith shows up in obedience, in spiritual fruit, in helping the needy, in abiding in Christ, and in doing what God commands when comfort, family, fear, and flesh all pull the other way. Abraham didn’t just talk faith—he laid Isaac on the altar. Jesus said His friends are those who do whatsoever He commands. That cuts, but it’s supposed to. This study calls out empty religion, title-chasing, and comfortable church talk with no righteousness behind it. If you believe, then live like it. If you love Him, obey Him. The Word says what it says—you can dress up dead faith all you want, but God is looking for works that prove the faith is alive.
