An Ordered Life

Proverbs 29:16-25

An Ordered Life is not a suggestion—it’s the way God keeps a soul from running wild into ruin. Proverbs 29 lays it plain: where there is no vision, no law, no correction, no humility, no fear of God, the people perish. You can let the Lord order your steps, or you can let fear, pride, anger, debt, wicked companions, and this world’s traps order them for you. But don’t fool yourself—somebody is governing your life. The question is whether it’s God or bondage. This study calls out the mess we excuse: children left untrained, mouths too hasty to listen, angry hearts stirring up strife, folks partnering with thieves, denying Christ with silence, and trusting man more than the Lord. If that cuts, it’s supposed to. God’s order brings peace, rest, honor, and holiness—but pride brings a fall, fear of man brings a snare, and rebellion troubles your own soul. The Word says what it says. Get under God’s order before disorder becomes your judgment.
