Doing God’s Will

Joshua 1:1-8

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 1 hr 5 min

Doing God’s Will ain’t about sitting still, blaming God, and waiting on heaven to do what He already told you to do. Joshua 1 makes it plain: Moses was dead, the promise was still alive, and Joshua had to arise, cross Jordan, and obey the Book of the Law without turning right or left. God didn’t stutter—“be strong and courageous” means move when He says move, stand where He says stand, and stop making excuses while the Promised Land sits untouched under your feet. This study cuts at lazy faith, religious deception, and that old trick of the devil that keeps saints waiting for someday while disobeying today. God’s promises are real, His presence is faithful, and good success is tied to obedience, meditation, and believing God enough to act—even when it looks foolish. If that offends your comfort, let it. Truth has to wake a sleeping soul before it can lead it into inheritance.
