Deceiving and Being Deceived

2 Timothy 3:1-2,12-13, Matthew 24:23-28, Revelation 20:4-5

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 1 hr 5 min

Deceiving and Being Deceived is a hard warning for the saints, not the sinners down the street. Paul said evil men and seducers would wax worse and worse—deceiving and being deceived—and we are living in that hour. This study calls out the danger of being fooled by false Christs, false prophets, family pressure, worldliness, and soft religion that refuses to stand on truth. God didn’t stutter: all who live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. If you want holiness without a cost, obedience without separation, and salvation without a stand, you’ve already been lied to. This message pleads with God’s people to wake up, watch and pray, tell the truth, and stop letting love be twisted into compromise. Real love warns your children, cares for the saints, rebukes sin, and stands firm even when family turns against you. Revelation shows the end of the deceiver, but it also shows the reward of those who would not worship the beast or take his mark. This ain’t about being popular—it’s about making the First Resurrection and escaping hell. If that cuts, it’s supposed to. Truth wounds before it saves.
