Being a Father Pt. 1

Genesis 2:7-9,15-25, 3:1-2

Being a Father Pt. 1 goes all the way back to Genesis, before the damage, before the excuses, before man started calling himself a father without carrying a father’s burden. God formed Adam, breathed into him the breath of life, put him in the Garden, gave him work, gave him commandment, and gave him responsibility before He ever gave him a family. That means fatherhood is not just having children—it is standing under God’s order, teaching God’s law, guarding the home, and refusing to let the serpent educate what God told you to lead. This study doesn’t flatter fathers—it calls them up. Too many homes have been left uncovered, too many children left without instruction, too many families baited by lies that looked like help but carried a hook. The Word says what it says: God gave the father a charge, and when that charge is abandoned, sin, shame, disobedience, and death start creeping through the door. This ain’t about blaming everybody else. It’s about getting the train back on the track. Fathers, hear it in love: step up, obey God, teach your children, guard your house, and stop letting the devil do your job.
