Beginning of Sorrows
Matthew 24:4-22
“Beginning of Sorrows” is not a sermon for sleepy saints or careless sinners. Jesus said in Matthew 24 that wars, famines, pestilence, earthquakes, false prophets, betrayal, hatred, and disaster would come—and God didn’t stutter. What we see in tragedies like Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans, and every shaking of the nations is not just “bad luck” or the devil having his way. It is a warning from a sovereign God telling this world to wake up, repent, and get back to the Word before the bottom falls out. This study calls you to watchfulness, endurance, prayer, and real obedience. Don’t be deceived by false Christs, false prophets, cold religion, or a comfortable life that makes you forget judgment is coming. There is no hiding place down here—not in money, not in government, not on high ground, not in excuses. Stand in the holy place, help the needy, preach the Kingdom, and endure to the end. I’m not saying this to scare you for nothing—I’m saying it because your soul needs to be ready.
