Acknowledge Him
Proverbs 3:1-8
“Acknowledge Him” is a straight warning from Proverbs 3:1–8: don’t you dare trust your own mind over God’s Word. The heart is where sin gets stored before the hands ever act, so if lies, pride, theft, rebellion, or secret plans are living in there, don’t act surprised when they come out. God calls you to keep His commandments, bind mercy and truth close, trust Him with all your heart, and stop leaning on that crooked understanding that already got you in trouble. This ain’t optional. If you won’t acknowledge God in all your ways, you are driving nails into your own coffin. This study presses hard on obedience, godly counsel, the fear of God, and departing from evil. A saint who quits checking, quits listening, and gets “too smart” is already sliding—whether they admit it or not. But hear it right: this word is for your good. God offers peace, favor, long life, guidance, and health to the one who submits. The devil will trick you, trap you, and expose you, but God is still calling you to truth before judgment comes. If that cuts, let it cut. Better to be wounded by truth now than destroyed by neglect later.
