A Promise Fulfilled

Genesis 21:1-14

“A Promise Fulfilled” reminds us that God’s Word does not rot with time. Abraham was old, Sarah was barren, and the promise looked impossible—but Isaac came at the set time because God said he would. Faith ain’t just talking loud in church; faith is trusting God when your body, your circumstances, and everybody around you says it can’t happen. Isaac was the evidence. God didn’t need Sarah’s plan with Hagar, and He doesn’t need your self-will dressed up like wisdom. When man gets ahead of God, trouble is born—but when God fulfills His promise, power shows up. This study also puts a hard truth on the table: some things have to be cast out if the promise is going to stand clean. The bondwoman and her son could not inherit with Isaac, and there are things in your life—old attachments, fleshly plans, devil-fed excuses—that cannot walk with God’s purpose. If that cuts, it’s supposed to. God is faithful, but He is not playing games. Surrender, obey, grow up, and move when God moves. The promise is real, but so is the separation required to walk in it.
