A New Creature Pt. 1

John 3:1-7, Acts 28:23-27

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 44 min

A New Creature Pt. 1 doesn’t play with religion—it puts the Word right in your face and asks if you’ve truly been born again. Nicodemus had position, knowledge, and religious standing, but Jesus still told him, “Ye must be born again.” That ought to sober a soul. This study drives home that becoming a new creature ain’t just cleaning up the outside or shaking a preacher’s hand—it’s going through the water, receiving the Spirit, and letting God burn out the impurity with holy fire. Like ingredients losing their old identity in the making of a cake, God is calling you to lose yourself in Him—your pride, your unbelief, your pernicious ways, your stubborn heart. Paul preached and persuaded from morning till evening, and still some believed while others closed their eyes. That same choice sits in your lap now. You can walk in the light, or you can stay blind and religious. But don’t fool yourself: the Kingdom of God is not entered by excuses. You must be born again.
