Wisdom Calls The Foolish
Proverbs 1:20-33
Wisdom Calls The Foolish is not a message for somebody else—it’s a call to you. Proverbs 1 lays it out plain: God’s wisdom is crying in the streets, stretching out its hand, reproving, warning, and calling simple people to turn. This study deals straight with foolishness, backsliding, and the danger of refusing the counsel of the Lord. We all have played the fool. We all have loved our own way at some point. But God didn’t leave us there. He calls, He corrects, and He offers His Spirit to those who will repent, listen, and obey. This ain’t about man’s wisdom or worldly prosperity. This is about God’s wisdom—the kind that saves your soul if you’ll submit to it. And make no mistake: this warning is serious. If you keep shrugging off correction, despising knowledge, and choosing your own devices over obedience, trouble will come and your own way will eat you alive. That cuts, but it’s supposed to. This study is a loving rebuke to the simple, the stubborn, and the half-hearted. Hear wisdom while she’s still calling. Turn while God is still reaching. Because there is safety for the one who hearkens—but ruin for the one who keeps playing with God.
