Love Ye One Another
1 John 3:1-24
"Love Ye One Another" demands more than lip service—it asks for a heart transformation. This is not a mere suggestion from the cozy pages of Scripture; it's a command that we must embody with the very essence of our being. You see, God set a standard of love that's unapologetic and transcendent: He laid down His life while we were still in sin, offering us the gift of sonship (1 John 3:1-24). And yet, many folks stroll around, claiming heaven’s fragrance while their souls reek with the stench of unforgiveness and division. Do you think the Almighty will welcome such duplicity with open arms? Think again. His love isn’t without conditions—obedience is at the heart of it. Don’t deceive yourself. Avoid being caught unprepared when He returns because you’ve harbored strife in your heart. The Apostle John puts forth the blunt truth: if you're not living in righteousness and loving your brothers, you're dwelling in the dark. And let’s be clear, just as Cain's jealousy led to murder, hatred is spiritual murder awaiting divine justice. Those refusing to love live in spiritual death, mock salvation as if it were a stage play, and defy God's command to love deeply from the heart. He’s coming for those who mirror His love, unsoiled by the world’s forgeries. You say you love God? Then show it not with empty words but through sacrifice and unconditional action, as laid upon in His Word. Yes, love one another like eternity hangs in the balance—because it does.
