Back to the Basics Pt. 1

Matthew 28:18-19, John 5:42-43, 14:25-26, Acts 9:4-5

Get ready to get back to the basics and face the hard truths that your soul has been sidestepping. The foundation of salvation is simple—but simplicity ain't the same as easy. In this study, the emphasis is rooted deeply in the words of Jesus himself: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19). Not titles, not positions, but the name—Jesus—a name that holds the power of heaven and earth, the only name given among men whereby we must be saved. You better listen up because there’s no salvation without understanding this foundational truth. This ain't no pick-and-choose buffet of doctrine where you get to skirt around the truth. Many have been misled by half-truths and traditional fluff. False doctrines and whispered misconceptions have kept people blind to the simplicity and gravity of the Gospel. It’s time to throw off the shackles of ignorance. If you’ve been baptizing yourself in anything less than the name of Jesus, you’ve missed the mark. It's crystal clear: to be born again means to die to confusion and rise in clarity. Jesus didn’t come clothed in ambiguity—he came with power, authority, and a directive as sharp as a two-edged sword. It’s time to repent, recalibrate, and rebuild on the cornerstone of Jesus’ name. Stand up, hear the truth, and let it set you free.
