Ye Must be Born Again

John 3:1-8

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 26 min

“Ye Must be Born Again” ain’t a suggestion, and Jesus didn’t leave room for shortcuts. In John 3, Nicodemus came to Jesus with religion, rank, and recognition—but the Lord cut straight past all of it and said, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” This study drives home the hard truth: church membership, tradition, family teaching, and smooth explanations won’t save you if they contradict the Word. You need the water and the Spirit. You need obedience. You need the new birth God commanded, not the version men made comfortable. This message warns against false doctrine and spiritual blindness with love, but it does not soften the blow. Who told you baptism doesn’t matter? Who told you the Holy Ghost isn’t necessary? Who told you there’s another way into the Kingdom besides the door Jesus opened? Flesh is flesh, Spirit is Spirit, and judgment is coming whether folks believe it or not. If this cuts, let it cut deep enough to wake you up. The Lord is still calling sinners out of darkness, down to the water, and into the life of the Spirit. You must be born again.
