What Shall I Render?
Isaiah 53:3-10
“What Shall I Render?” is not a soft question—it is a reckoning. Isaiah 53 lays the matter bare: we were lost in Adam, guilty under sin, gone astray like sheep, and when the bill came due, we had nothing to pay with. But the Lamb of God stepped forward. He was despised, rejected, wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, and smitten of God—not for His sins, but for ours. God didn’t stutter. The whipping belonged to us, but Jesus took it. So what shall you render unto the Lord for all His benefits? Not excuses. Not church talk. Not half-hearted religion. Repent. Call on His name. Be baptized in Jesus’ name. Receive the Holy Ghost. Surrender your life and give God the glory He is due. If you’re still hiding like Adam, it’s time to come out. The Tree of Life has been opened through the price Jesus paid—but you don’t stroll past that kind of blood and keep living like it means nothing.
