The Soul

Romans 1:15-18, Hebrews 2:1-3, Revelation 9:1-8

“The Soul” is a straight warning about the part of you that will not be buried in the cemetery. Your body is going back to dust, but the inner man—the soul God breathed into you—must give account. Paul said he was not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God unto salvation, and this study makes it plain: the gospel is not here to flatter your flesh; it is here to save your soul. Repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, faith, obedience, and the righteousness of God are not church decorations—they are matters of eternal destiny. Hebrews asks it clean: “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?” And Revelation shows what men are trying to escape—wrath, torment, judgment, the bottomless pit, and a day when death itself won’t answer. God is not warning you because He hates you. He is warning you because He loves you. But don’t twist that love into permission to live in disobedience, suppress the truth, and play games with salvation. The way has been made plain. Take heed before it slips. Your soul is worth more than your comfort, your pride, and your excuses.
