**The Role of the Preacher** ain’t about a man chasing a pulpit, a paycheck, or a name—it’s about God sending somebody to tell the truth when folks would rather be comforted in error. This study cuts through the confusion around Romans 10 and shows why you better search the Scriptures and know who the letter was written to. “Call on the name of the Lord” is not a license to ignore repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and receiving the Holy Ghost. The Word doesn’t contradict itself—people mishandle it, and souls get deceived. This is a wake-up call against false preachers, shallow salvation, and Bible verses ripped out of place. The preacher’s role is to preach the Gospel straight, like Peter did in Acts 2:38: repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. You need a preacher—but he better be sent, and he better bring you back to the Book. This ain’t about hurting feelings. It’s about saving souls before the casket closes and eternity tells the truth.
