The Preacher and Divisions

Romans 10:13-15, Matthew 12:25-32

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 49 min

**The Preacher and Divisions** puts its finger on a wound folks would rather cover up: God ordained preaching to bring His people truth, peace, deliverance, and understanding—but the devil has used scandal, pride, man’s wisdom, and false prophets to make people despise the very office God uses to wake them up. Don’t lose confidence in the Gospel because some men are crooked. Judas was among the twelve, but Jesus was still Lord. The Word is still right. Romans 10 says you can’t hear without a preacher, and you can’t preach except you be sent. That ain’t preacher-worship—that’s Bible order. This study also hammers the poison of **division**. A house divided won’t stand, and God didn’t stutter when He said it. Division keeps communities weak, churches powerless, and people trapped in bondage while blaming everybody but themselves. The Bible is the antidote, but you’ve got to obey the truth, not just admire it. Lay down the foolish fighting, stop calling God’s work the devil’s work, and be careful with your mouth concerning the Holy Ghost. This is a wake-up call: come together under the Word of God, or keep bleeding from wounds the devil is glad to keep open.
