Sovereignty

Isaiah 9:6-7

“Sovereignty” takes Isaiah 9:6–7 and drags us past the soft Christmas talk straight into the weight of Christ’s government. Unto us a Son is given—and the government is on His shoulder, not man’s. This study calls the Church to remember who she is: a people under God’s rule, walking in His commandments, His order, His authority, and His Kingdom. Abraham looked for a city whose builder and maker is God, Moses led a people out from under bondage, and the apostles stood firm under persecution because they knew another government was over them. This ain’t about pride, rebellion, or playing church with big words. It’s about understanding that if God is sovereign, His people cannot live like beggars under every fear, trend, and worldly system. The Church has been given spiritual authority, order, responsibility, and separation—but if we sleep on it, compromise will swallow us whole. God didn’t stutter: His reign increases, His commandments stand, and His people must wake up and obey.
