Scarcely Make It
N/A
“Scarcely Make It” is a hard warning for anybody playing with time like judgment ain’t coming. The Day of the Lord will not be a soft sunrise—it will be darkness, wrath, and no place to hide. Like Amos warned, you may run from the bear and meet the lion; escape the lion and get bit by the serpent. God sees in the dark, and the devil hunts in it. You can dodge trouble, survive sin’s consequences for a season, and still end up outside the gate when it’s too late. If the righteous scarcely make it—walking the narrow way, loving enemies, doing right by neighbors, obeying God when it hurts—then where will the sinner and ungodly stand? This ain’t meant to scare you for sport. It’s meant to wake you up before the gate shuts. Repent, get right, stop drifting, and run to salvation while mercy is still calling. Don’t let it be said over your soul: too late.
