Rightly Divide the Truth

Nehemiah 8:1-2, John 3:1-4, Matthew 7:11-13

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 1 hr 4 min

“Rightly Divide the Truth” is a warning against handling God’s Word like loose scraps on a table. Truth mixed without understanding can still lead a soul wrong. This study walks through Nehemiah 8, John 3, and Matthew 7 to show that God’s people must gather as one, come to the right authority, and ask for the Book—not opinions, not tradition, not a comfortable shortcut. The Word says what it says: except a man be born of water and Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. You can wrestle with that, or you can submit to it. This ain’t the time to hide behind the thief on the cross while ignoring the resurrection, the Book of Acts, baptism, the Holy Ghost, and obedience. That thief was before Calvary was finished; you are not. God didn’t leave salvation blurry. He gave a way of escape, but you’ve got to take the route He gave. If this cuts, it’s supposed to. Better to be corrected by truth now than condemned by misunderstanding later.
